August 2026 – BGH Networking Event

How Much Is Enough? The question almost every prospective client asks.

When people first walk into a financial planner’s office, they rarely ask about investment returns, tax strategies or superannuation rules.

Instead, they ask a much simpler question:

“How much is enough?”

  • Enough to retire.
  • Enough to reduce work.
  • Enough to help the kids.
  • Enough to travel.
  • Enough to stop worrying.

In this engaging and practical presentation, Michael will explore why “enough” means something different for everyone and why chasing a number without understanding the lifestyle behind it often leads to disappointment.

Drawing on more than two decades of advising Australians through some of life’s biggest financial decisions, he will share the conversations, frameworks and lessons that help people move from uncertainty to confidence.

Attendees will learn:

  • Why many people focus on the wrong financial goals.
  • The difference between wealth and financial freedom.
  • How lifestyle choices can have a greater impact than investment returns.
  • Common mistakes people make when planning for retirement.
  • Practical ways to determine what “enough” looks like for them and their family.
