As we approach the end of 2024 and reflect on the year that has passed, it’s clear that this year has presented its challenges to small businesses with the ongoing cost of living pressures.
Against that backdrop however the small business community have shown they are as resilient as ever and with a few days to go until Christmas it is great to see Hobart a hive of activity.

Collins Street Bike Lane Proposal
A public meeting about Hobart’s controversial dual bike lanes in Collins St is likely to be held in early February after our petition attracted 1000 signatures.

Final Networking Event for 2024

Our networking events are held every month and feature a guest speaker presenting on issues related to small businesses in Greater Hobart. They are also a chance to connect with people, discuss local issues, share advice, and offer support.
Small Business Cyber Resilience Service
Small businesses can now access the Small Business Cyber Resilience Service.
This service provides free, personalised cyber security support for small businesses with 19 employees or less, including sole traders.
